Real Vegan Cheese project Lead

Ashley is a third year Cell Biology major with a human development minor. She is a team lead for the BioInnovation Group Real Vegan Cheese project. She has been part of the project for two years and have recently helped lead other project members. She works with her other undergraduate students collaboratively to push the project forward. Her project includes expressing the casein proteins found in milk and working with Kluyveromyces lactis to produce sustainable, animal-free cheese.
