Microfluidics project Lead

Rachel is a fourth year Biomedical Engineering major heavily involved in undergraduate research at UC Davis. She has worked on the BioInnovation Group microfluidics project from the beginning and has been leading an interdisciplinary group of students through the process of building a microfluidic controller and conducting experiments with it.

In addition to her research with BIG, she conducts research in a synthetic biology lab on campus. Her project focuses on using droplet printed cell mimics as a foundation for artificial tissues.

After graduating this June, she will be working full time as a mechanical engineer.
